San Antonio is home to some of the best seasonal events in Texas. San Antonio’s diverse culture, combined with their extraordinary event locations introduces some very unique and exciting seasonal events to attend. San Antonio is also home to its famous River Walk which creates a unique atmosphere to the many events which have taken place there. With so many awesome events in San Antonio, sometimes it can be difficult to find that perfect event to attend, so we at Tobin Lofts decided to create this incredible list of the best seasonal events in San Antonio you don’t want to miss!
The San Antonio River Walk is getting spooky this October, grab a few friends and head over to the Haunted River Parade! At this event, you’ll be able to enjoy live music, adult drinks, tons of great food, and of course the haunted river parade. This event will also feature a special costume contest for adults only. The adult costume contestants will have a chance to win up to $1,000. The event and costume contest is free to participate in, which makes it perfect to bring some friends along and maybe win some cash!
If you haven’t had enough of the San Antonio River Walk yet, then check out the Ford Holiday River Parade. This year’s 2019 Ford Holiday River Parade theme will be called the “Texas Music Christmas 2019.” This event will feature live music performances by many popular local artists, with some artists performing on the parade floats. The event will also offer some great dinner packages from popular riverwalk restaurants with many restaurants offering to seat customers right in front of the river, so you can enjoy a delicious meal while watching this awesome parade!
The San Antonio Beer Festival is one of San Antonio’s biggest beer festivals of the year! This beer festival was founded in 2005 and became an annual, seasonal hit! The San Antonio Beer Festival brings over 125 breweries from all over the world and features over 450 premium and craft beers to try! The festival also features music, food trucks, local vendors, fun games, and more! All guests must be 21 and over to attend. If you’re a fan of beer then you can’t miss this event!
This is the 9th annual Die de los Muertos 5k Run/Walk. At this marathon, participants are asked to dress up in their best Dia de los Muertos costume for the run. Participants will also be able to compete for the best costume for a chance to win a cash prize! Marathon runners will be awarded finisher medals, and overall winners will be given hand-made awards! This is great event to attend with some friends and family to get some exercise and have some fun!
The San Antonio Spring Home and Garden Show will be celebrating its 40th anniversary of the show this spring. At this event, you’ll find everything home and garden, from the latest home products to home decor, kitchenware, home accessories, to so much more! At the San Antonio Spring Home and Garden Show, you’ll also be able to meet professional builders and contractors to answer those burning questions you might have for your home projects. This event is a great learning opportunity and a great event to check some cool home and garden goods!
